Yesterday I took a Skillshare.com class online about illustrating with pen and watercolor basic techniques and could not wait to try in by myself. The main message I took from the tutorial was using two markers of different sizes for line drawing to add interest. The tutorial also showed how to apply watercolor.
Today I took a photo of my little son with my glasses on and started applying my new knowledge. I was drawing with my S size Wacom tablet. It was a challenge at first as I set my printing size at A2 measurements and had to zoom in and zoom out constantly. But soon my hand and eye got accustomed and I managed to get confident lines and strokes. This is what my drawing looked like before removing pencil layer.
Next step will be rendering with watercolor. Looking forward to it!
